West Chester East Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach
Coach Durant has a wealth of Sports Camps experience as he has run camps for over thirty-five years at various locations and various types of sports camps.
Coach was a three sport varsity athlete, captain, Most Outstanding Senior Athlete, and American Legion Award Winner. He was a walk on for the Penn State University Football team and member of the 1984, 1985, and 1986 National Championship Team.

He has been a Varsity High School Head Coach for Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Football, as well as Baseball, Softball, and Tennis throughout his career. He retired after 33 and half years as a Health and Physical Education Teacher and and Assistant Athletic Director (20 years) at Penncrest High School. He is currently the Athletic Director and Physical Eduction Coordinator/ Teacher at St. Edmond's Academy and the Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach at West Chester East High School for the past eight years. In those 8 years the East Vikings have won three Ches-Mont league championships, one District 1 5A championship, qualified for District play seven years, and qualified for State play five years. East has won the Sportsmanship Award and Coach Durant has been named Coach of the Year.

The goal of the Sports Camps is to get participants moving and playing in a healthy, fun, safe environment as they learn and improve on their physical and social skills.
